Val D'Este in the Valle de Sol (or Sunshine Valley)

The Val D'Este golf course is situated in the Valle del Sol near Vera, next to it’s golden beaches and majestic natural parks. The long beaches are glorious, and the neighbouring villages hold a wide variety of interesting shops and places to visit.This exceptional, historical area of Almeria enjoys virtually unbeatable climate throughout the year, estimated to be more than 3000 hours of sunshine a year, with extensive facilities from the hotel's bar and restarant, to diving & caving etc. close to hand. Almeria offers the fullest range of sun and beach leisure in the country, with long, well maintained and facilitated beaches. The golf course offers space, well-being and comfort, close to the air, lush greenery and the sea.

5 Fabulous Golf Courses

Valle del Este's sand, water and volcanic rock make for a different sort of golfing experience. Raised tees look down on three lakes and a good number of waterfalls, while ominously large sand bunkers litter the fairways. 20 mins away Desert Springs Indiana course is the first desert course in Europe and has been built to USPGA specifications. Generous fairways mean it's ideal for the less skilled amateur, while the scenery is astounding. Different tees mean that the better player will find the course's assortment of hazards - from dry riverbeds to cacti- a real challenge. At Turre not far from Mojacar there is the Cortijo Grande club de golf. At Marina Golf near Mojacar the relatively short 18 hole course was designed by Ramón Espinosa´s whose golf course design includes three lakes strategically situated. The course also offers wonderful and diversive views of the Mediterranean Sea and the colourful desert like landscape. Alborán Golf is located in El Toyo Retamar, a new 18-hole Championship course just a few meters from the sea. At La Envia the course runs up and down a huge valley and it is noteworthy that the greens here are as excellent as are the clubhouse views.
